What if I don't qualify?
That’s exactly what the 2 minute survey is for. You’ll know right away, privately, on your own time. No phone call required. Many women are surprised to find out they do qualify. And if not now, we’ll tell you what would need to change.
Will this take over my life?
No. The active part of the journey, from matching to delivery, typically takes 12–15 months. During that time, you live your normal life. You go to work, take care of your kids, do your thing. There are doctor’s appointments and check-ins, but your case manager works around YOUR schedule best they can.
What about my own family? My kids?
All of our surrogates are moms, that’s actually a requirement. Your family comes first, always. Many surrogates say their kids learned incredible lessons about generosity and helping others. And your partner is involved from the start so everyone feels comfortable.
Is it weird carrying a baby for someone else?
Honestly? Most surrogates say it feels completely different from carrying their own child. You go in knowing this baby has a family waiting for them. The relationship you build with your intended parents is one of the most meaningful parts. Many of our surrogates stay in touch with their Intended Parents for years.
What if something goes wrong medically?
You’re covered. The intended parents carry an insurance policy for you. You have a dedicated case manager monitoring everything. You choose your own OB. And Heart to Hands has 15 years of experience, we’ve supported hundreds of surrogates through every situation you can imagine.
